Chocolate Banana Nut Smoothie Bowl
Smoothies are great, but now there are smoothies bowls and you can make your breakfast a work of art with all kinds of delicious toppings! The possibilities are endless! This is also a great way to add extra nutritional benefits into your meal. I like to add in protein powder and lots of seeds and nuts that are loaded with omega 3s, fiber, and tons of vitamins and minerals.
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 frozen banana, sliced
2 dates, pitted
1/4 cup almond butter
1 serving of Rootz chocolate banana nut protein powder
Toppings (listed below)
Blend ingredients together until smooth. Top with sliced banana, chopped raw walnuts, hemp seeds, chia seeds, sliced dates, and dark chocolate.
