Not all essential oils should be used internally, however since Young Living produces 100% pure therapeutic-grade oils, some of them can be ingested safely. Vitality oils labeled as a dietary supplement have been qualified by the FDA to be GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) to use internally. They are also now NON-GMO Project Verified! Always make sure to check the labels of your oils to ensure that it is an oil that can be ingested safely.

The vitality line of oils can be taken a few different ways. They can be added to a glass of water, a spoonful of honey, an empty capsule, or dropped directly into your mouth.

WATER OR FOOD: When adding the oils to water or tea always be sure to use a glass, stainless steel or ceramic mug or cup. You should only add 1-3 drops of essential oil when consuming this way. You can also incorporate the vitality line of oils into your cooking and baking.

CAPSULE: You can take as a supplement in an empty vegetable or gelatin capsule by adding the desired oil(s) into the empty capsule, then filling with olive oil. Swallow with a full glass of water. Always check the oil labels for the suggested internal use. If you are new to using the oils begin by using less, and work your way up to the quantities listed.
