Mclellan Remodel - Before & After

This small little remodel project was a lot of fun to work on! Casey and I had not taken on a remodel in quite awhile and we enjoyed jumping back into it together. While this home was small and only required entry level finishes, it did need a lot of attention. As you will see in the before and after pictures below, it was not in good shape when we found it!

I will share some of the sources for finishes and items used in the light stage that we did once complete. Everything used was budget friendly, so if you’re looking for some inexpensive finds you can check out the links below!

BEFORE

AFTER

The kitchen needed new everything, paint, cabinets, countertops, flooring, you name it! However to keep things simple and save, we kept the original layout with just small changes. Instead of keeping upper cabinets to the left of the kitchen sink, we added open shelving to help the kitchen feel open in the space and it also added a fun design element. We went with simple white shaker kitchen cabinets and white subway tile to appeal to the masses since we were flipping the home and wanting it to sell quickly.
