Favorite Clean Beauty Products
On my journey towards clean living the past few years I have found some skin care products that I love and wanted to share them here with all of you. All of the products that I share have safe ingredients and help to promote healthy skin in natural way! Not only are these products safe, but I have noticed wonderful improvements in my skin by using them!
The creams, serums, and face cleansers are definitely an investment, but I typically get 4-6 months of use out of them! A little bit goes a long way! Some of the other products that I share below, like the derma roller and derma planing tool are extremely affordable, and can even save you money if you begin doing these treatments at home instead of at a spa regularly. 1. Monoi Exfoliating Cleanser - This cleanser is from one of my favorite organic skin care line, Eminence. The Monoi cleanser is a creamy exfoliating cleanser featuring fine ground olive seeds and fruit acids to help remove dead skin cells and impurities leaving the skin feel refreshed and deeply hydrated. Great for all skin types but specifically for dry and dehydrated skin. It is a truly gentle exfoliating cleanser that leaves your skin so soft, I love using this cleanser with my clarisonic brush!
2. Derma Roller - I’m sure most of you have heard of micro-needling, well derma rollers are a way to gain those benefit right at home! A derma roller has 100-1000 tiny “micro” needles that when rolled on your skin help to stimulate collagen, reduce fine line and wrinkles, repair sun damage and more! You can select from a variety of different lengths of needles. I use .25mm for a gentle treatment once a week. Doing this treatment at home is not painful and the needles do not cause bleeding. The very small impressions made in your skin allow you to gain more benefits from your skin care products. It is great to use a Hyaluronic Acid before and after rolling.
3. Beauty Counter Countertime Regimen - Beauty Counter has become my favorite for skin care products! I love the countertime products that are designed for anti-aging. Featuring their innovative, plant-derived Retinatural complex, this 4-step regimen is designed to visibly firm, brighten, and plump the skin.
4. Clarisonic Facial Cleansing Brush - Do you ever wash your face and feel as though you still have make up on? The clarisonic brush helps you to clean your face 6x better! Whenever I use my clarisonic my face feel incredibly soft and clean afterwards!
5. Derma Planing Tool - These inexpensive little tools have quickly become a favorite! If you have had derma planing done by a professional and liked the results, now you can achieve similar results from home on a regular basis! These small blades are used to remove all of the tiny hairs from your face, while also exfoliating dead skin. They are also great for shaping and cleaning up little hairs around your eyebrows. You may not notice all the tiny hairs on your face, but once removed your skin is silky soft and it helps make up to go on extra smooth!
6. Hyaluronic Acid - Hyaluronic acid is a lubricating, clear substance that’s produced by the body naturally. It is often included in many high-end facial products for its benefits. However, using it on its own can support collagen production, improve texture, and create a youthful glow. It is also known for showing results quickly, in just a couple weeks!
7. Cellulose Facial Sponges - These sponges are great for daily facial cleaning. They are inexpensive, derived from natural plant pulp, and provide deep cleansing and gently exfoliation!
